FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you include digital images?

Yes, your images will be in an online gallery for digital download. You will have printing rights to them and can print wherever you'd like.

How much are your photography services?

Prices range from $140-$350+ depending on package. You can find more info here.

How long does a typical photo session last?

Sessions are usually one to two hours in length. Mini sessions can be 10-30 minutes, depending on the type of session.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Absolutely! I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. There are tons of great parks in and around Prior Lake that I use. If you are wanting a location farther away, no problem, I just charge a small travel fee.

How many photos will we receive?

This depends on the option you choose. I have a one hour option with 25 photos included, or a two hour option with 45 photos included. I also occasionally have mini sessions at a reduced price that include 10-20 images. Images are always sent digitally and you have printing rights to them.

What's the best time of day or photos?

One to two hours before sunset is ideal. The lighting is the best and no harsh sun shinning in your eyes! If you're looking for a morning session the opposite is true, lighting is best between sunrise and about an hour after.

What types of photography services do you offer?

I offer family photography, high school seniors, sports, and special mini sessions throughout the year. I also photograph birthday milestones in studio and occasionally I do small weddings.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

Most sessions are delivered to you within three weeks of your session. During the busy season (September to October) images can take up to five weeks due to the volume of sessions that time of year. If you are in a time crunch to receive your photos back sooner, please let me know and I will do my best. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of our shoot we will discuss dates for rescheduling. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I am flexible in rescheduling as needed.

How should we dress for our family session?

I'm working on creating a style guide. But in the meantime, please just send me a message if you need any help with outfits for your session.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course! Neither do I, that's why I'm behind it... kidding! But I'm a very easy going person and try to make the sessions as fun and relaxed as possible. I'll help you with posing and help you relax to capture those wonderful smiles!
